【摘要】:Thisseriesofstandardsappliestoweldingofmetallicmaterialsinthemanufactureandmaintenanceofrailwayvehiclesandtheirparts.Withrespecttotherailwayenvironment,thisseriesofstandardsdefinesthecertificationandqualityrequirementsfortheweldingmanufacturertoundertakenewbuildingandrepairwork.Itthenprovidesanessentiallinkbetweenperformancerequirementsdefinedduringdesign,andachievesappropriatequalityweldsduringproductionandthedemonstrationoftherequiredqualitybyinspection.Thislinkisachievedbydefiningaweldperformanceclassduringdesign,whichisbasedonsafetyandstressfactorsrelevanttorailwayoperation.Qualitylevelsofimperfectionsareassignedtoweldperformanceclassestoensureacertainlevelofperformanceintendedduringdesign.Basedontheseweldperformanceclasses,certificationlevelsforproductionaswellasinspectionandtestingandqualificationsforweldingpersonnelofthemanufacturerarespecified.Thisstandarddealswithweldingsteelandaluminiumalloysincludingcastings.NOTETheprincipleofthisstandardmayalsobeappliedforweldingofotherparentmaterials(e.g.Cu,Mg).Thispartoftheseriesprovidesgeneralrecommendationsanddefinitionsforweldingrailwayvehiclesandassociatedcomponents.Exceptforspecificprovisionswhicharelaiddowncontractually,thisstandardappliestoallassemblies,sub-assembliesorpartsweldedbyanyweldingprocess,eithermanual,partlymechanized,fullymechanizedorautomaticweldingasdefinedinENISO4063.Thisseriesofstandardsdoesnotdealwithproductqualification.Itemsofequipmentsubjecttospecificregulationsarenotrelevanttothescopeofthisseriesofstandards,e.g.airreservoirsaccordingtoEN286-3andEN286-4.
