【摘要】:Thispracticedescribestheessentialcomponentsofawavelength-dispersiveX-rayspectrometer.ThisdescriptionispresentedsothattheuserorpotentialusermaygainacursoryunderstandingofthestructureofanX-rayspectrometersystem.Italsoprovidesameansforcomparingandevaluatingdifferentsystemsaswellasunderstandingthecapabilitiesandlimitationsofeachinstrument.1.1Thispracticecoversthecomponentsofawavelength-dispersiveX-rayspectrometerthatarebasictoitsoperationandtothequalityofitsperformance.Itisnottheintentofthispracticetospecifycomponenttolerancesorperformancecriteria,astheseareuniqueforeachinstrument.Thedocumentdoes,however,attempttoidentifywhichofthesearecriticalandthuswhichshouldbespecified.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificsafetyhazardstatementsaregivenin5.3.1.2and5.3.2.4,andinSection7.1.3ThereareseveralbooksandpublicationsfromtheNationalInstituteofStandardsTechnologyandtheU.S.GovernmentPrintingOfficewhichdealwiththesubjectofX-raysafety.ReferalsotoPracticeE416.

【摘要】:Densityisafundamentalphysicalpropertythatcanbeusedinconjunctionwithotherpropertiestocharacterizeboththelightandheavyfractionsofpetroleumandtoassessthequalityofcrudeoils.Determinationofthedensityorrelativedensityofpetroleumanditsproductsisnecessaryfortheconversionofmeasuredvolumestovolumesatthestandardtemperaturesof15x00B0;C.Thedeterminationofdensitiesattheelevatedtemperaturesof40and100x00B0;Cisparticularlyusefulinprovidingthedataneededfortheconversionofkinematicviscositiesincentistokes(mm2/s)tothecorrespondingdynamicviscositiesincentipoises(mPax00B7;s).1.1Thistestmethodcoverstwoproceduresforthemeasurementofthedensityofmaterialswhicharefluidatthedesiredtesttemperature.Itsapplicationisrestrictedtoliquidsofvaporpressuresbelow600mmHg(80kPa)andviscositiesbelow40000cSt(mm2/s)atthetesttemperature.Themethodisdesignedforuseatanytemperaturebetween20and100x00B0;C.Itcanbeusedathighertemperatures;however,inthiscasetheprecisionsectiondoesnotapply.Note18212;Forthedeterminationofdensityofmaterialswhicharefluidatnormaltemperatures,seeTestMethodD1217.1.2Thistestmethodprovidesacalculationprocedureforconvertingdensitytospecificgravity.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
