【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoverportableadaptersrated24Vdcorlessthatareintendedtobesuppliedfromthebattery-poweredelectricalsystemofavehicleandusedinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.Connectiontoavehicleelectricalsysteminwhichthevehiclechassisisconnectedtothenegativesideofthebatterysupplyisbymeansofaconnectorintendedforinsertionintoacigarettelighterreceptacleorpoweroutlet.Vehiclebatteryadaptersmaysupplyoutputsforappliancessuchasportableradios,tapeplayers,batterychargers,andtools.1.2Productscoveredbythisstandardinclude:a)Cordassembliesconsistingoftheconnectorforinsertionintoacigarettelighterreceptacle,adjacentcord,andconnectorintendedforconnectiontoanappliance;andb)Unitsconsistingoftheconnectorforinsertionintoacigarettelighterreceptacle,adjacentcord,andpermanentlyattachedfilteringorregulatingcircuitrywhichmayincludeanadditionalenclosure,outputcord,andconnectororbatteryreceptacle.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotcoverproductsintendedformarineuseinareaswhereignition-protectedequipmentisrequired.1.4PowerinvertersintendedtobesuppliedfromthecigarettelighterreceptacleofavehiclearecoveredbytherequirementsintheStandardforPowerConverters/InvertersandPower-Converter/InverterSystemsforLandVehiclesandMarineCraft,UL458.
