【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstwoclassesofuncoated,high-strength,hard-drawnsteelwireforuseinthemanufactureofprestressedconcretepipe.Inapplication,thewireishelicallywrappedonthepipemaintainingtensionbymechanicalmeansnotincludingdrawingdies.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Supplementaryrequirementsdescribehydrogenembrittlementresistancetestacceptancecriteria.1.4Thefollowingcaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportionsofthisspecification,6.2.3and6.4.3:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
