【摘要】:Thisspecificationprescribestherequirementsforclassificationoflow-alloysteelelectrodesforfluxcoredarcwelding.Therequirementsincludechemicalcompositionandmechanicalpropertiesoftheweldmetalandcertainusabilitycharacteristics.Optional,supplementaldesignatorsarealsoincludedforimprovedtoughnessanddiffusiblehydrogen.Additionalrequirementsareincludedforstandardsizes,marking,manufacturingandpackaging.Aguideisappendedtothespecificationasasourceofinformationconcerningtheclassificationsystememployedandtheintendeduseoflow-alloysteelfluxcoredelectrodes.ThisspecificationmakesuseofbothU.S.CustomaryUnitsandtheInternationalSystemofUnits(SI).Sincethesearenotequivalent,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.
